Andover Glen residents have adopted a single service trash collection. As per the covenants, homeowner’s dues include the amount of the yearly cost of the service to each homeowner.
Our current trash collection contractor is Waste Connections.
Garbage and Recycle Guidelines
Carts must be on the curb by 7:00 am on day of service (Please do not leave containers on sidewalk, driveway or block the sidewalk).
Containers should face the street with handles facing the house and wheels touching the curb. Containers must not exceed 40 pounds in total weight.
Please leave at least 2 feet between each container. Do not park personal vehicles within 10 feet of containers on service day.
Trash should not be higher than the lid of the container nor placed on top of the lid. No other bags, bundles, or trash cans will be picked up unless scheduled with Customer Service.
Recycles are picked up every other week. Recycles should be inside of the container and not on the side. See separate list for acceptable and unacceptable items.

Do not place the following items in any carts: Hazardous or prohibited waste or materials such as motor oil, tires, batteries, herbicides, pesticides, acid. Dead animals, dirt sod, brick, concrete, rocks, construction material, wood, hot ashes or flammable materials such as solvents, oil, gas, liquid paints or medical waste.
Extra Containers for Trash or Recycle are available for $4.00 per container per month, subject to price increases. Extra Containers are billed directly to the residents. This can be set up by call to Customer Service.
Homeowners with Extra Containers moving out of Andover Glen must call Customer Service to cancel service and have extra bins picked up.
Residents must call Customer Service to schedule and prepay for large item pickups i.e. (furniture, carpet, wooden pallets).
Extra Bags will be picked up for $3.00 per bag, after call to Customer Service.
Christmas trees will be picked up within 3 weeks after Christmas. They must be bundled and no more than 4 feet in length.
This calendar is pulled directly from Waste Connections website and should be an accurate reference for pickup days.
